These terms govern your restaurant's use of OpenDish, provided by MT AI Systems LTD, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 16910754. By creating an account you accept them.
OpenDish is software that lets your restaurant take and manage its own orders: a menu, a customer-facing ordering page and app, an order and kitchen screen, receipt printing and delivery management.
We provide the software. We are not a party to the sale of food: every order is a contract between your restaurant and your customer.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your account, for the staff accounts you create, and for keeping sign-in details and PINs confidential. Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been misused.
Allergen information is your declaration. UK law requires food businesses to tell customers which of the fourteen regulated allergens a dish contains. OpenDish gives you the fields to record this and shows it to your customers — but we do not and cannot verify it.
Keeping allergen and ingredient information accurate and up to date remains your legal responsibility, as does compliance with food safety and labelling law generally.
The same applies to prices, descriptions, photographs and availability: what you publish is what your customers will rely on.
If a subscription is cancelled and later restarted, the founding price no longer applies and the current standard price is used. We may change the standard price with at least 30 days' notice; a founding price already earned is not affected during its 24 months.
4a. Our 30-day money-back guarantee. Try OpenDish for a month. If it's not right for your restaurant, tell us and we'll refund what you've paid — no reason needed.
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through our payment processor. If a payment fails we will tell you and may suspend access until it is settled. Card details are handled by the payment processor; we never see or store them.
You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the paid month. You can export your menu and order data before you go. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, is used unlawfully, or leaves payment unsettled — we will give notice unless the law prevents it.
Your menu, your orders and your customer records are yours. We use them to run the service for you and as described in our Privacy Notice. We do not sell them and we do not market to your customers.
We work to keep OpenDish available and will give advance notice of planned maintenance where we can. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and we are not responsible for failures caused by your internet connection, devices, printers or third-party services.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Subject to that, we are not liable for lost profits, lost sales or indirect loss, and our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the subscription fees you paid in that period. We are not liable for the food you sell, for allergen information you publish, or for deliveries carried out by your own drivers.
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you we will give at least 30 days' notice; continuing to use OpenDish after that means you accept the new terms.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
